          22 January 2011:

In our garden, there is an old tree of Jamun(don't know what it is called in English-pls let me know :-) )  & though it is not alive it is still supporting "life" ! A very beautiful pair of birds called Copper Smith have carved their nest in it's trunk !Today morning ,i had some snaps of it !Enjoy viewing ...Smile

       29 March 2011 :

It has been more than 2 months when i posted the photos of the copper smith with their nest !During this period ,the female had laid eggs & from the voice coming out,we could guess that their are baby birds growing inside! After a sufficient period when the baby became grown up ,it started peeping out from the door of the nest, observing the out side world with his tiny eyes !I am posting  it's snaps as it allowed us to take them from a very close distance !

        15 April 2011:

Soon after these were taken, the baby bird took the flight in to the outer world!

The adult birds are still attached to the empty nest & visit it often !May be ,they are planning for the future extension of the family!Smile

I am sure, the old Jamun tree has served a great role in supporting the family of copper smith when the natural habitat is deteriorating very fast!
