Morrison's grave

Submitted by aristeidis9 on Fri, 01/02/2009 at 4:13am.

When i visited Paris i went to the cemetery that Morisson was buried. Here are some photos from his grave.

In the 1990s a flat stone was placed on the grave, possibly by his birth family, with the Greek inscription: ΚΑΤΑ ΤΟΝ ΔΑΙΜΟΝΑ ΕΑΥΤΟΥ, "true to his own spirit."

What a legend! Glad to see people still paying respect. This would be one of my main reasons for going to Paris...

He rests with the greats (Chopin, Oscar Wilde, etc...) where he belongs.
