Chinese New Year 2012

I took my children to see the CNY celebrations in Manchester for the first time and here are some of the pictures I took :)

It did get a bit cold during the day so we spent some time in the Manchester Art Gallery too as you will see from the pictures.

    Aww thank you :) The kids were fed up qith the cold and we didn't get to see much of the festival but they did have a good time overall :)

    Yes Manchester China Town is right behind the city centre less than 2 blocks away :)

    And its me and my THREE sons Laughing yes we had a great time :)  thank you x

    I guess then that Manchester, England is a large city with its own China Town like San Fransico, CA. has.  Anyway they are great pictures and I am sure you and your 2 sons enjoyed both the festival and the Art Gallery.  Thanks for sharing.

    RFowler it was their New Year on January 23rd my sons birthday but the festival was held the weekend after :)

    Love the photo's.  I never even realized that it was the Chianese NY.  Not widely celebrated where I live.
