Can almost taste the guinness, and smell the turf, from here !  Reminds me so much of great holidays in Donegal with my family and two Labrador dogs.  I particularly loved Dunfanaghy...miles of beach to ourselves.  Never mind the Donegal weather.

But every time I go back there, to Dunfanaghy, my heart bleeds for the old Carrig Rua hotel.  What have they done to it ?  A truly wonderful hostelry, under the auspices of the Robinson family.  Memories, memories...gone, but not forgotten...just like the snows of yesteryear.

My compliments, colm 1, lovely shots there of the island.  Did you not manage to get one of the King of Tory ?  Now that would have been a contrast with your wild and rugged landscape !
