There are lots of special deals available. The best deal we could find was through Allegiant Air's website.

The hotel occupancy rate is still lower than normal in Vegas. It seemed busy to me anyway. Can't imagine what it's like at full capacity. 

My husband and I were there for a chess tournament, so I got to do lots of sightseeing while he was playing.

It's a place worth visiting, even for people who are not into gambling -- the spirit and the experience is quite different from (most) other places in the world, in my view!  And it changes with time also, so for people who have visited 10 years ago, it's not quite the same today (as I learned last time when I was there).

Nice photo work!  Was this a special deal trip from Biaggio's?  The casinos offer special deals sometimes with great price breaks if you promise to play while you are there.  I am interesting in going again. :}
