These photos were all taken by G-Star's Lesley Weitjes on September 10, 2010 at the Cooper Square Hotel in Manhattan. They give you a look into the scene at the Magnus v. The World match. Also, he's an incredible photographer, these are just gorgeous pictures!

Nimzo obviously likes poor connection, game over in a few moves, no organisation, cutting out constantly, not being able to vote, and no prep on how we should play v Magnus. Whole even could have been much better. One of my tips would have been the world being able to vot e on any move they wanted. And not just the 3 GM moves. They couls have been there as a guide. Would have felt alot more it was him v the audience then. Also below each GMs move a little comment on why they pick that move. Could hav been so much better this event.

We were disappointed to find out you weren't the butler David.  We were cheering every time you made a move - then Danny spotted it wasn't actually you!

Great event though, despite the overload due to numbers.  Is there anywhere we can hear a repeat of Garry and Ashley's commentary?  Danny did a great job too although he was not happy with Naka lol.  Great fun.

No, I'm always nervous about bothering busy people... also wasn't interested; but I would have done it for a certain chess.com coworker, had she been on less tight a schedule.

Was awful event. Wasnt organised at all. Neither did the online part of it work properly. Going with diff Gms moves at the start was massive mistake. Connection was awful and the game was so dominated it was also silly. Very poor event. Good idea but was poorly done.
