Yes sure they are, I was some weeks ago by a chinese restaurant here in the neighbourhood and of course there are also hanging chinese paintings; on all of them were also chinese characters, some poetry I supposed. I asked the chinese girl what this text was about and she couldn't gave me an answer ! So I don't know yet what this text means !
