What is an epee??

Since a few people have asked me:::
The epee is one of the three modern Olympic Fencing weapons - the others being the foil and sabre. The blade is about 90cm long and rather stiff. Unlike the foil and sabre, the entire body is a valid target and there are no "right of way" rules.
