It's a cornerstone of the four Rs that make up my PC troubleshooting escalation hierarchy:

• Refresh
• Reboot
• Reinstall
• Replace

f5 is a refresh key for your browser when I was on aol playing games I was told to hit f4(i think that was the key) and in the middle of the game is would sign me off and I had to try and get back on again which would give them the win.

Your not being disconnected it's refreshing your browser. I use it when I'm designing web pages to see the changes that I made.

A great shirt I should of thought of it.

If I do F5 during a live chess game, it disconnects me! Of course, it reconnects, but still...it creeps me out!
