Custom Chess Set, Turned, Poplar and Purple h
This is my first turned chess set, made from Poplar (easy) and Purple heart (dear mother of all that's holy...I've cut rocks that were softer).
I turned the pieces on my lathe and scroll cut + power carved the knights heads then attached them to the body, all pieces carry my "mark". Who knows, perhaps someone will find these in the future and wonder who "MS" was...
