Thanks for the encouragement scooby. Even if he doesn't, then it will be OK. when he is gone off to college and if I can still afford it, then I'll have time to go to some of the more major tourneys. :)
I learned at that age, but when I started beating dad, he stopped playing me! lol
My suggestion.......if he sees you continue playing it.......he will come back to it, the need to challenge dad in the long run will resurface in whatever venue.
why you ask?... I can't say exactly because I don't know exactly. I think he got discouraged with the game. Also, he grew into other interests. That's OK with me though. He's 13 now and still we do other things together. Hiking for example.
