yes bigjimi, it is a shark tooth.   more correctly, it is a fossil of a shark tooth.  no megalodon teeth are known to exist today, only fossils of them.

I found the first three fossils starting from the left.  Unfortunately, I did not find that large Megalodon tooth.  I found one but a lot smaller.  I maybe able to do hunting for them in November.
