When I saw the first video ("Psychosocial") for the new album, I noticed the crown of thorns on Jordison's head.  I thought it cool, but if you also notice while all the young ladies are around him, his hands and fingers are branches & twigs.  I thought it very cool coming from the days of Kiss, Twisted Sister, Queen and many bands that were not afraid to use make up or costumes.  I know he can't wear the hand pieces while playing but it would be cool to see him try. 

You also mentioned another one of my favorites which is The Smashing Pumpkins.  Too bad James and D'Arcy aren't with them.  Even with Michelle Auf Der Mar, the band kicked buttocks.  I have their Greatest Hits on Video.  They know how to freak people out.
