Is that your spouse with you  I have 2  of my three daughters that hunt with me It is a blessing  to get to share the outdoors with them  and even better to come home with meat.

It was hunted and killed in the most primitive fashion, with a bow and arrow. Had to get with in sixty feet of this animal to get a ethical shot and not run the risk of just wounding it.

you have to agree with scoobyo68  ,it is easy to say hunting is wrong when ordering from the drive thru window.if they were truly against the kill.they would be vegetarians.

All the funds from hunting permits go towards the preservation of wildlife and their habitat.  In exchange, hunters exercise their right to cull the overcrowded herds for gain of meat and trophies.  Your ancestors chose to exterminate all the natural predators in the name of man's superiorority and entitlement decades ago.  They did so and took rule of all the land, as a result everywhere we look we are inundated with this beautiful animal the deer and magnificient he is.  So was the wolf at one time, wolves kill by severing the achilles tendon on their prey, grabbing it's prey by the throat to kill it, often the pack starts to consume it before it is fully dead. So which is more humane?  It is something your ancestors exclaimed as barbaric!  They came up with a simple solution, they killed all the wolves!  Now we are terribly overpopulated with deer, deer are dropping sick left and right and infiltrating our suburbs in search of morsels of food.  A hunter kills his prey in one shot, it instantly shocks and they expire within a minute or two. Frankly is just adding back the natural balance that existed before man decided to "rule the land".  So which is more humane, you tell me?  And while your responding, tell me that you never looked into a cow's eyes and didn't see it as one of god's beautiful animals also.  The fact of the matter is you just go to Grocery Mart with your phony sense of superiority ...because someone else had the guts to kill the animal and alleviate you from your sense of guilt, you don't know who killed the cow and you don't care or have to think about it.  I can hear you now, "Hey Dominic, give me two pounds of the select veal and while your at it throw in a lb. of lamby chops, it's my wifes favorite!" ..lol. Yes, I know this is more challenging to you than responding to an e4 move isn't it?  Yes, there are irresponsible hunters that give the rest a bad name, but obviously there are irresponsible commentaters in life too, it's obvious in the emotional knee jerking we see here.   Sometimes a pawn move is more than just a pawn move my friend, sometimes it's a move with an entire plan behind it, you should know that by now.  Perhaps you haven't made that connection yet,... chess emulates life and all of it's complexities and your complex thoughts should extend themselves into life itself and not just terminate on these 64 sqaures.  There is more to life and chess than solving Lucena and Philidor positions and when you solve this exercise you owe Mr. Luggnut an apology.

Hunting is the most natural sport on the planet. People have been doing it for thousands of years and I am proud to keep up the tradition.  Some people look at the act/sport of hunting through straws and only see red.  They don't see anything but their own self interest because the wild is too foreign to them.  Its not a good rule to criticize something you don't undertstand.  Nice animals.
