The Last Allegro Match 08/09
this was the last Allegro match of the season it is Held in the lovely Hotel called the The Original Roslin Glen Hotel it has a nice log fire in the lounge bar and its only £3.10 a pint so you dont want to spill a drop. http://www.theoriginalhotel.co.uk/
I took a few photographs of my faviorite chess people the first photo is of Andrew McHarg of Livingston Chess Club, (http://www.chess.com/groups/view/livingston-chess-club) Andrew is a chess.com player too like a few other chess players from Livingston (who came third) also his opponent was playing for the very well known Edinburgh Chess Club who have been going since 1882 http://www.edinburghchessclub.co.uk/ probley the second oldest chess club in the world anyway the young guy that Andrew was playing was Shivan Murdochy who also plays for the Tiger Cubs a junior team at the Edinburgh Chess Club.
