There's a great pdf on this site called the kids chess curriculum, it's very well put together, read it, it's how I started my daughter at 3. In fact now at 5 she asked me to play "real person chess" as she'd grown tired on the "piggie" game. You'll see, check out this link.

These are great photos! I have a very similar series (not uploaded) of me and my 5 year old daughter playing, it's fun and will be a great memory for them growing up. Great work!
