Canyon of Mrtvica
Canyon of river Mrtvica is located in central part of Montenegro. That enchanting mountain river carved the canyon whose cliffs with plentiful of plants rise up to 1100 m. Located 35 km from Kolasin in direction of Podgorica canyon Mrtvica abounds in natural beauties as wells of Bijeli Nerini that in water falls confluence to river Mrtvica. Through canyon Mrtvica leads marked walking path 12.5 km long. His path leads to marvelous stone bridge built by Prince Danilo as legacy to his mother. This hidden river abounds in wells and waterfalls and temperature even in summer is very low so that only few can take a bath. As the water is very clear here trout and grayling can be found here.
