i spent the holidays in south carolina in the sunshine during the day.  the night was filled with the shine of the moon.   a few apples and cinnamon sticks turn a little white lightning into a festive holiday drink.  Buyao!

So I finished my first batch of homebrewed beer. I used a kit from the guys at midwest supply for an English Pale Ale. To my surprise it turned out incredibly delicious! Reminds me of brooklyn's if anyone's had it. The thing is a small layer of sediment appeared on the bottom of every bottle. I have taken steps to avoid this with the batch I started a few days ago by using a boil bag for the grains and hops I used.. and I am planning on priming the beer this time. So hopefully I wont have to pour it in a glass first =) But it sure has been a learning experience and I was extra pleased with the results. Cheers drunk chess group! Kick ass in the tourneys!

p.s. I ruined my rating by playing too many drunk games.. just play unrated =) if you can remember, hah
