@RealDarren Don't tell it to me. Tell it to Alexander Alekhine.

@FrodoPiano Others may disagree but in my opinion after 1.e4, 1.Nf6 is possibly the worst possible move imaginable. I don't advise that you ever make it.

Hmmm unless maybe you're intending on the sizy gamble of taking the F2 pawn directly in exchange for the knight

This would make a good poll in fact.

If you think I'm talking nonsense about 1.Nf6 then please say so but frankly  I can't think of much worse. (1.f6 looks pretty bad but I've never really explored it or come up against it)

Beat a few GM's. Been taking out NM's, FM's, and sometimes IM strength guys, but GM's are elusive :-)

Happy Chess in 2013 everyone! Good Luck

Solution[!]: 1...Black offers draw and simultaneously resigns!?![?] - yes/no? ...

And that's the way 'I' see it! ...

I ALWAYS tell myself that I'll play more. What ends up happening? Not that! The more practice the better you'll become. Such a simple saying yet difficult to always apply.
