To plan more carefully and thoroughly, while at the same time being more spontaneous and creative and fearless at the same time - if that makes any sense.  And this applies to chess and life.

i had to vote play less.  too addicting and makes my grades go down the toilet!!!!!

I wanna take every game seriously and stop playing to kill time. The only thing I kill is my rating.

Nooooo Resolution.....

I will start a small chess club, mainly for kids, in my neighbourhood, teaching them the basics of how to play.

less books, more on databases or creating databases. I have just compiled one based on the book of GM Christian Bauer "Play 1...b6!"

To play only open games! Probably will lose much more, but hopefully strengthen my tactical eye :-D

Good point browni3141. It's just another day. I make new years resolutions but not anything chess related.
