( I was on the side with the king )
funny I just played a game with 2 bishops vs a king :O drew
Hey, hey, hey!!!
Now don't make me laugh! 25% knows how to mate with bishop and knight??? It's often more than 30 move!!! And after 50 move it's draw!!! Man would think that at least HERE are normal people. But my respect to those, who really knows how to do it.
On balance, I tend to agree with TeddyHunter.
It's B+N not B+K...it is impossible to win with B+K
Bishop and Bishop mate does exist and even does Knight and Bishop,Both types of checkmates are possible,But B+K is a little tougher :)
I can do B+B but not B+K!
I saw in theory (system of triangles), but in a real game B+N before fifty moves is not so easy!
you actually CAN mate your opponent when you both have a bishop and the king... but the opponnent's king must be at the corner(draw when you play with someone with IQ over 5)
I can't get the exact minimum number of moves for either mate, but I can execute both of them.
Yep, I practiced N + B for ages against a computer. B + B is cake.
Both of these endgames are covered in chess mentor!
Eventually, but if you were to restrict my time and moves to play then I will have real problems.
yeah,i posted on more puzzles what is the easiest way to checkmate with knight and bishop, just a sequence of moves ny chessmaster so check it out!
Piece of cake!! I'm insulted you would even ask!
