Logical Player- Emotional Player who thinks he's logical.

Intuitive Player- Plays before the first move enters his head.

Practical Player- Pessimist playing the part of a realist.

Dynamic Player- He likes to move it, move it! He likes to move it, move it!

Tricky Player- Devout worshipper of the Goddess Caissan who might bless the board with blunders... But for who?

Calculating Player- He is indecisive... Or maybe not.

Attacking Player- A chess player.

Positional Player- A patient chess Player (see directly above)

Technical Player- He nevers plays when he could practise.

Positional, I must be positional because when I play all of my pieces are always in the wrong position, and am  very good at itLaughing

janbo> And positional and technical?

A technical player knows how to win won games and hold tough draws. He's mastered the most common endgames. When one side gets ahead, you often hear masters say, "And now, it's simply a matter of technique."

A positional player tries to win by gaining small advantages, such as more mobile pieces, more space, and/or a better pawn structure.

I'm one of those players who moves without much thought and it seems to work out... guess that's either 'intuitive' or 'stupid'

What is the difference between practical, logical, and calculating player? And what's the difference between dynamic and attacking player? And positional and technical? I didn't know I had so many ways to play. No wonder I'm so bad at chess.

This is not a "radio button" survey.  This is a "checkbox" survey.

I guess "Attacking" suits me best. "Risk taking" would have describe much better. I try to prove peoples' claims (like "My knight is safe there") wrong. I guess I'm a little of everything.

I voted for intuitive, but thats not quite accurate. I often attack wildly, but sometimes I just sit back and wait for my opponents to make mistakes. Depends on what mood I am in. I guess I'm not sure what all your definitions are exactly.
