What Online Chess "tools" do you use?

  • None, really. I just make my moves and maybe chat a bit
  • I use the Explorer to learn & improve my opening play
  • I use the Analysis Board to help me look ahead!
  • I use the Notes tab to avoid forgetting my genius plan!
  • I find Conditional Moves very convenient sometimes...
  • I use ALL the tools, depending on the circumstances!

i think conditional moves are ok i guess... but then you could spend time setting up a massive list and if your opponent does a different move to what you anaylysed then its a waste of time. but i guess it works with force WellRounded - can i verse you rated, 3 day per move?? Laughing

    WellRounded

Using conditional moves you make your move according to what you expect your opponent to do, and when it's your turn, if that move is still a legal move, it automatically makes it for you.  It's pretty much what drives the bullet games and is very useful as your time runs short.  I also just use them when my opponents move is forced or near forced.

I use some of abovementioned tools, but not all. However, I was not allowed to vote for two choices, so I had to say all of them.

explorer is only helpful if you're a diamond or platinum member!

I can see 2/3 moves then it stops.
