I THOUGHT OF THIS SURVEY AND SENT IT TO PATZER 24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why wasn't vote chess included as an option?

i feel like most correspondence chess users have all the time in the world to cheat.
reason why there's lower rated players on live chess.
i only play long games face to face.
bullet and blitz games are for online.

LIVE CHESS IS BETTER!!! In online you have to wait, and wait, and i haate it. And people have time to look in books and use chess stuff

Live Chess. I used to go to Yahoo! Chess before this but now I play at Chess.com mostly because I find there are better players here.

online chess rules! (or correspondence)

I like the correspondence mode. I sometimes get very fascinated by different positions. I have always been driven by trying to improve my chess game. Chess is by far the most challenging game I have ever played. I'm interested in learning and getting to the next level of my knowledge. Correspondence chess is the best way for me as an individual. I do not take joy in beating my opponents. I take joy in improving.I love the chess videos given by the masters and grandmasters. I would like to see a chess mentor type course devoted to every opening position possible. A programmed learning "Whats the best move" multiple choice quiz. I believe that anyone improving their game will be helped greatly by the tools on chess.com.

Very surprised by the results so far . Chess.com is Primarily a CC Site with the introduction of a basic but stable Live Chess server ( Much appreciated)

Live Chess.
Pretty much the shorter the game, the more I like it. I like 1 minute bullet games the most, then 3 minute blitz, then 10 minute blitz, then 30 minute standard, then 1 day correspondence, then 3 day correspondence games.

My vote would obviously go to live, at home i wouldnt be caught dead playing correspondence. But at work live is off limits, i cant put even 15 minutes of undevided attention into something thats not work. This is where correspondence comes into play, and makes it possible for me to squeeze in 5 minutes here and there of chess without playing a rediculous bullet game. they each have their place and chess.com offering both is something ive not seen anywhere else. And by anywhere else i mean anywhere else with over 500 people logged on at the same time. This reason alone is why i purchased a chess.com premium subscription over an ICC one of equal value. (not to mention twice as many players here on chess.com)

Despite my best intentions, I always end up timing out in Correspondence Chess. So I voted 'live'.
