Love that idea scut_fargus! These teams were fun to hear about but, clearly, this league is not in the know.

It's something we could try on this site, teams in leagues and a league page showing the  standings. We could have classes of leagues so the winner of a league could move up to a higher league at the end of a season and the lower team would move down to a lower league. Isn't that how soccer(football) leagues are set up in Europe?

It seems to me that this site is trying to promote the sport of chess. The fact that so many people haven't heard of the US Chess League is a good reason to promote it. Now ya know!

its a league, just like any other league. People need to stop being so bitter to something that doesn't seem to be important to them. Its the championship match, its why they made a poll about it. we do have titled players from both cities, so for me its nice to see a poll like this. If you don't know them you should go familiarize yourself and learn.
