Baffling, !!!, if I ever saw one
My apologies Ret. I sometimes forget that what I initially intended to be laced with sarcasm tends to come out a bit monotone sounding when typed . I did understand the problem quite fully, and I feel a bit bad that I made you go to extra lengths to clarify it for me. Nonetheless, thank you, and I know everyone here appreciates all the time and effort you put in explaining tactics to the fullest. For future reference, I will refrain from posting my stupid, puerile, sarcastic comments and only comment when I actually need help or to brag about my score (I just can't resist sometimes).
I would have definitely like to see the capture of the rook after discoved check included. After 1:23 i just guessed this move, but i didn't see the exact continuation.
Baffling and highly edited comments.
Not 2 Nd5 because of Black's knight at a6.
Since the continuation isn't there...
3. Nxf6+ Qxf6
don' t see
Black should not take your Knight on c6 because it's tactically proctected.
1. ... Qxc6
2. Nxf6+ Qxf6
TT needs to include the continuation on this problem.
tis all about the rook....
Easy. If knight gets captured, queen gets forked. A toothless attack. 100%
solved but too late
Not enough time on this one. Winning just one pawn will not be accepted as a solution- the key is that White has to save the Knight AND the Queen, and Nxe4 is the only way. This is a defense puzzle.
don t remember
Mixer, queen does not get forked, it is victim to a discovered attack with check. I'm sure that's what you meant, but for clarities sake....
I think this has some defensive qualities to it too.
