All games start with the Vienna Gambit,

 

  1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 Nf6 3. f4

 

NOTE: If you register now and your rating changes before the start date, you will be AUTOMATICALLY moved to the correct group when the tournament starts. 

You will play up to 10 games at a time in this event.

Vacation time is allowed.  

New rounds will start when ALL games in the current round are complete.

    ive got 8 outta nine games for my group & i hope to at least get a 1/2 a point in the last game ...so i would be 8.5 for the first round ...but another round against a harder group of ten seems very daunting ....

    Those tournament are indeed very difficult. I myself never went to second round, despite many many participation...

    I almost wanted to skip this one, but I am doing suprisingly good. Finger crossed :)

    I use the Game Explorer to get the hang of this opening, not many others use it.
