i am so exciting with this tournament, but one question, why so many players over 1800 take part in this tournament?

    KWash01

I can't reiterate enough how senseless it is just to hold up everyone else's progress and take away the fun and beauty of the experience...

i;ve had experience recently with 2 players holding up tournaments for months. they both had no chance of getting through to  the next round and they were both hopelessly lost. they either were constantly ' on vacation ' or made the minimum  number of moves possible.what the hell goes on in these imbeciles  minds?

A very excellent way to bridge the gap in communication, yet when you have the 1% that want to do things their way, it will mess that up! one question for the man who loves to comment on what I say. Why would you delay making moves in a game in a tournament that you know you can't win, you've been all but eliminated, and you are online playing all day? patience? in live chess some players disconnect when they see the end is near, unlike live chess, those players are disciplined for their actions. The same should apply here when a person purposely delay the inevitable, it's the same thing!

Hello to all the competitors! I got caught out once before with this silly: "Vocation time!" Players do take a full advantage of it and I played one round for 8 months. Good luck to all of the patient contestants and to all of impatient ones please: "Leave" now, as I do right now too. Thank you.
