I hate those ppl who have like 200 games going and take months just to miss a simple mate in 1. Talk about holding up the tournament.

I have to appologize for the amount of time its taking to finish the games so the tounament can move on, my opponent will only move every three days even though we cannot move to the next level.

They might also be using the 14 moves to think. It is after all, correspondance chess.

Its not always a number of games that causes a player to slow down, so that would be unfair.  I have approached 200 in the past but kept my average move time under 3 hours because I am online every day.   I know players with 500 that move reasonably fast in every game.  There are players out there that wait the maximum time every move.  They are hoping for you to time out or even leave chess.com.  I played in a 14 day per move tourney against someone who while was online every day or two and moved in other games, waited until the last day to play a move against me EVERY time.

There should be some limitation of number of games played at the same time for each player, for me 20 is a perfect number of active games, if someone wants to play blitz games then he/she should do so, and not waste other people's time.

thats a good approximation of when it will be...easter weekend.  But based on the game that has proceeded the slowest, you will be safe.  They have been playing the current game exactly two months today, and played 20 moves.  Figure two more months to finish.
