Are we seriously talking one million($1,000,000USD) bucks for the winner of this tourney? If so from whom? also, what will the first runnerup prize be?

If 2 players take the maximum 14 days for each move and each make 100 moves before ending the game, it will be over 7 years until the first round is finished.  Plus, add a few vacation days into the games and it will be 25 years until the 3'rd round is complete.  Assuming Chess.com is still in existence at that point, and we are still alive, 1 million dollars will just be enough to fill up a gas tank.

Even so, I'd be happy for that...

Cheers to everyone - looking forward to some fun games.

1,000,000 of what, because I am sorely in need of 1,000,000 socks.
