I'd like to wish everybody who makes it into the third round good luck! I can already tell it's going to be a hard-fought series of games, and hopefully no one person will destroy or be destroyed by everybody else.

I've logged on to the site to find I've already lost games on time out when I dont think I even registered for tournament? Apologies to my opponents for not providing a game, but at least you got the points.

Cheers

aggggghhhhh!!!! Because of the timeouts mentioned above, I cannot join a tournament because I have an 11% timeout rate and limit is 10%!!

Frustrating but all part of the part of the system I suppose.

The only upside to this vacation-induced delay is that those players for whom the 1-day format was unmanagable have depleted most of their vacation time.  The next round should progress at a much nicer pace.

k so, there's three remaining games left now. click on the "3" next to remaining games and go into the only skanneke game still playing. you'll see that it reports skanneke as being "out of time", yet it still counts as a remaining game?!? weird right? can someone explain that? is it a glitch? erik, dya know what's goin on?

I don`t quite understand, if people want to play really fast then why not play live chess ?

This is brillo and you can pick up extra games or go on tactics trainer or something when it`s quiet.Cool

WE are tied at the top of our group with same tie break points.

Who goes through? I hope we both do, or do we have a play off?

Apologies to all. I did not realise vacation was automatically activated in some cases. I will now go back to my usual policy of not talking on internet sites and keep my ignorance to myself.

Thanks Erik. This site and the tournaments are great!
