Erik...Great tournament! Thank you!

Just about all over for me now, but have enjoyed this one more than any before......soooooo close to round 3..One silly move and it could all have been different...However a worthy winner in round two...Congrats to Tamagen!

Thanks to all of the players who I have met in this tournament..I have enjoyed it greatly!

Yeh round two is on the way...Well done Erik for getting us all this far and for putting up with the grumps about slow play and vacations....All behind us now as we are here!

Good luck everyone!

i think since its a rapid tournament, vacation should not be allowed.

And maybe the time could be changed to something like: 10 days each for the whole game. That way we know that the round will be done after exactly 20 days.

just an idea

hehe, if you know where they live.

Really though, I think the only modification that could help tournaments like this go quicker (if only by a little bit) is to proceed to the next round when all remaining games in the current round will not affect any of the pairings/groups for the following round.

Thoughts?

for the record, I think it makes no sense making us play nonstop everyday on this tournament, and then keeping us waiting for so long...

There is a problem in group 44. A game lost by time out don't appears as finished.

2 of the 8 remaining games are mine I'm sorry but because my computer died for 37 days I had to use the vacation setting, v. frustrating.  This now means I won't have enough vacation to see out my summer hols. I sure hope the rest of the tourney finishes sharpish!

Yes, this has been a very good tournament.  This time of 1 day with the vacation make it workable make it very workable for all.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone in group 51 for all the excellent games, and to wish good luck to our group's winner, PaniX, in the next round.
