FYI angelor, we Filipinos, citizens of the Philippines were vassals of King Felipe, hence the word Felipine, evolving into Filipino. Pinoy is a colloquial term for Filipino which originated from Filipino "oldtimers" in the United States. Some other countries also use colloquial term for their nationals such as: Nicaraguans as Nicas, Samoans as Hamos, New Zealanders as Kiwi, Puerto Ricans as Boricuas, Costa Ricans as Ticos, El Salvadorans as Guanacos, etc.

So to make it clear,,, the phrase "If you register now and your rating changes before the tournament start, ..." means "If you register now and your rating exceeds 1800 before the tournament start, ..."

~~Will you please explain above phrases? Since I am the lowest-rated registered player (1090) and might gain some rating on my current games, will I be "deleted" if my present rating reaches below 1800 before the start of the games?
