pastorpaul, you don't know, you can suspect. Chess.com "knows", after it has run some statistic analyses.

He has (had) 1700 and he lost quenn at 4 (!) move. This is strange. Thats all.

How do u know someone is using a computer program?

    sisyfosgrx2

In case of a cheater (basically that is someone who is using a computer program to make moves) just report it.

    http://support.chess.com/Tickets/Submit/RenderForm/21

Chess.com is trying to keep cheaters out of our way.

    http://www.chess.com/cheating

Other than that, I don't think there is much to be done

Bobbos has not lost a single game..... should we accuse him.... because there is no way we can beat him

    sjoshm8206

I agree completely we need to kick cheaters out but how can we be sure?? And who has authority to do so?

    sjoshm8206

Chafer..... that game... was it strange because liltodd lost? So horribby lol...ah so how could we tell he was cheating if he lost?

    sisyfosgrx2

enough with this rating shit! Noone is going to be kicked because they are above 1400. The moment the tournament started they were below 1400. What happens later it does not matter. You can't accuse someone for being a good player. What do you want to happen? Go to the 1400-1600 tournament? At the middle of it?! That's absurd!!

As for eventhrowliltodd he was a cheater. He is in the cheaters list.

I dont know but look at this game: http://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=72200785

    Very strange game.

Where is eventhrowliltodd at? Did he get kicked out of the tournament because of his rating? Why not kick out bobbos?

Mario_Baku, u don't have to quit. Its probable that the guy was in some more tourneys at the same time. He must have been winning some games. He is probably not as good as you. Just give it your best and I assure you, you might just win him. Don't underestimate yourself, make more assured moves, and imagine his rating to be 1200.

    Enjoy your games friend.

squlor, noooooo! This has always been a 24 hour tournament. You must have confused your turnaments. :(

I am livid, I can't believe I waited so long for round two and the time limit changed from 3days to 24 hours! I just lost all my games because of that switch. Mad mad mad

Mario_Baku asked a simple question (that has a simple answer), and you (sisyfosgrx2) somehow: 1) interpreted it as whining, 2) insulted him for his percieved whining, and 3) used your answer as an opportunity to boast about yourself.

Please stop posting until you can be civil.

Because he was winning all this time Mario_Baku. He started within the limit but he is a good player and moved beyond that. What do you want to happen? Throw him out because he is too good??

The opponent I mentioned that I won, started with a 1389 rating and by the time we started the 2nd round he had 1534. This whole time he was winning more than he was losing and he deserved gaining some points. He ended up having +134 points of rating from the upper limit. So what? I played with him and beat him.

This is how this works. It is fair in my opinion. If you don't think that is fair, just don't play another tournament and/or quit this one. Stop whining

    My opponents rating is 1782.

    Why?

    sisyfosgrx2

And I just won my first point! Against the player, who was leading the board, as the highest rated player of our group no less.
