Only 2 more moves to go if they play the right thing, then we can get this thing over with.

Every single one of thses "official" tournaments have a game or 3 which take forever & always by people who have NO chance to advance!

49 moves per pawn advancement and 3 days per move?  Pssh...Don't forget all of the vacation time he can take/has taken!

    Don't give him any ideas!

If iamjabali wants to be really mean, he can play 49 moves and advance a pawn, 49 moves and advance a pawn, and make every move every 3 days.

One game left.  Black can't win and is in third place in their group.  No wonder these things go on forever. Tourney should move on when people have been mathmatically eliminated.  Let those eliminated keep playing for ratings if they wish.

    Now it's 99% done...just 8 more games to go!

It's been stuck at 82% for ever. Most of the folks currently playing have no chance of advancing, why don't they just withdraw?? I definitely would.

They'll probably be sorted by rating, as was this round.

Does anyone know how they will sort the groups in the second round?

Even tournaments with vacation time allowed should have a cap on how much you can take. Some of these delays are crazy.

Also, if you log in to chess.com AT ALL, it should automatically stop your vacation for at least 24 hours.

There are 121 groups in this tournament. Just go to the top of this page (which should show your group) & click on "view all pairings," then go to the last page & you'll see the final group.
