How long time can a vacation time be, after the vacation time has ended, for a premium member?

    1) interesting that there are many players who has many many games with 0 or 1 moves, just before the tournament....

    2) it is interesting, that a player can go from some 1400 to more than 1900 in 2 days, without playing any games (the player is in my group).

He can force-checkmate in 3 moves. I hope he sees it and we can start the next round.

Let us hope the players well over 1200 will be taken out of this tournament. Maybe they should do the honourable thing and take themselves out. I doubt this will happen because chess is no longuer an honurable game.

whats funny is even if deltablues looses he winns his pairing and advances!

    Beel4

well, he is winning, so i doubt he would be doing that

erme1 I think you are a little paranoid. There could be some cases but im sure they are rare. In my case i started this tournament right when i started playing on this website. My USCF rating is 1015. In chess.com now i have 1500. There are a lot of things to be fixed but for now have fun and learn.

The reason it is taking so long, is there are a few cheaters in this tournament and the honnest low rated players are slowing it down on purpose. Look at the leaders ratings. These are players who keep there ratings low and then join low rated tournaments and of course they win. Some players never heard of fair play.  Maybe one day we will have a fair tournament on this site

This round should take about a month but the successive rounds wont be taking this long, around 2 months each at max, so in all just over a year.

why do they bother with these tournements? do any of them actually finish?

I wonder how many players that advanced to the 2nd round have actually died while waiting for the 2nd round to begin...
