You are perfectly right to use all the time that you have, so no need to appogise. It's just that this tournament started so long ago I nearly forgot I am playing in it!

Yeah..... I'll apologize for that. I'm perhaps the slowest player on chess.com! I know my opponent moves faster than myself, so sorry for the hold up everyone.

As mentioned, I won't be joining you all in the next round, but I would like to say good games to all my opponents and best of luck to those advancing.

You're all Gentlemen and Scholars!

There's only one game left, and it decides nothing except who will be third and who will be fourth in the group. It doesn't decide even the first place since in every case one of the players that share the first and second place will have better tie break score. So why don't we just start ther second round and leave them to play their game to the end?

I learned a lot about this opening, excellent tournament. A little more practice, and I'd be ready to add it to my repertiore.  Still a few kinks to work out...

I have noted comments about the opening being bad for black due to lack of space etc.

However this opening was played with great success by Fisher, Kasparov and Geller

This opening is too bad for black, the middle is controlled by white. This is a great disadvantage for black, may God help blacks in this entangle they find themselves.

good luck to all, but i have been finding myself seing my opponent copy my moves when im black and hes white, then using it for when he is black and vice versa. Its becoming very annoying

King's Indian is a good opening for great masters. Kasparov used this opening repeatedly in his World Championship Match against Karpov during 1986-87. We should, therefore, try to study the opening by playing in this Tournament. I hope many amatuer chess players will improve their standard by making use of this opportunity. Good luck!

This tournament will be a really challenge to me.

I do have two goals to handle with both colours.

First: Black discipline in order to profit from that white open center and to perform a black kingside counterattack.

Second: How can white take advantage of it's space in order to break into the queenside.

This way you can practise both sides of the opening!  All the good gransmasters know how to play an opening for both sides.
