Shame, there's been a whole mess of forfeits in this round. Seems some people didn't realize round 2 had started.

    hi jhockey,

Waivers can be given for discomfort or because the player refrained participate once the tournament started. As for games where he has won the weaker (rating), I think it can be a bad move by the opponent, or that is growing weaker in experience. To me it is not strategy. If the draw early surprise me, just started the games.

I've noticed a couple of games where top player has lost to bottom player in the group, and from good positions. Is this some sort of tactical play? Just wondering if anyone knows as it seems a bit unusual. The biggest upset so far in the tournament being one example, as the top rated player resigned for no apparent reason.

    Dear players, how are you?

The tournament progresses slowly, and some groups are in the final stages of games.

    I hope you're having a good tournament.

The classification of three players by group will allow a better chance for those who generally do not occupy the first or second position, as in most tournaments. Of course having more classified, makes the tournament to extend its duration.

I've seen comments about cheating, and in this respect, I agree with the information submitted. To believe that there has been cheating, please refer to Chess.com through the link http://support.chess.com/Tickets/Submit/RenderForm/21.

Good luck to all, and good definitions of the first round.

    I'm sorry by my english.

If admins cannot rectify this situation by corroborating my hypothesis, I will resign from my games with him.

Sugfootie has been cheating in our game. I have tracked his moves from around move 20 and they fit the computer's suggestions with almost 98% accuracy. His tactics rating is far too low to indicate that he was such an amazing tactician.
