Everyone please note. Manual start 2012 01 02 or later.
This is for risk takers, committing to one long tournament for big points rather than eking out a few points at a time in multiple smaller tournaments. With this format you will play up to ten games each round for an estimated six rounds.
At the end someone has a chance of taking home more points than in any one tournament, with a similar ratings range, than they have ever done before.
The points available will be similar to this. http://www.chess.com/tournament/all-your-eggs-in-one-basket2
Let's estimate 750 points
Minimum Games Completed: 50
Maximum Timeout %: 10
Players rated over 1400 will be removed before the tournament starts. Note where there are manually enforced conditions the tournament has to be on manual start.
Here are examples where three players in a group advance. They are in the rarefied height of thousand point tournaments. Please note it will not be possible to reach 1000 points in this ratings range.
These are all format 6(2)->3

A tournament with larger groups will have less rounds but then more simultaneous games are added to your games list at the beginning of each round.
