    I actually didn't "get it" about chess 960 when I joined. I am embarrassed to admit that the very first move that I made (as white) was pawn to D4, which I made "automatically" without even reaslizing that the piece places were scrambled.

    I did notice it the second time. At first I was surprised, then just figured I would play and enjoy the games. Can anyone tell me whether there are people who are used to playing with this configuration of pieced and have already figured out strategies, or are we all just trying to figure it out as we go along?

    Finally - will these results count toward our ratings? Fine if they do... I just want to be sure that I know whats what.

    Thanks again to Samsch for organizing this tournament. I think it is going to be fun!
