As the title says, you must be a friend or former foe of Martin LS.

I've allowed all players of any rating to play, so even us lower rated players can play against some of the really good ones.

There are two to advance in each group, so you have a chance even if you flub up in one game and you can focus in the next one (that's a message for me too).

However, you must have at least 100 games, a max timeout of 10%, play within 6 hours and there is no vacation.

Hope to see all my opponents from the last 2 years.

Good luck everyone.

Member's account has been closed.  Don't know the circumstances, but I'm checking---

Chess.com reports that Herne was eliminated because he closed his own account.

Hmm... maybe not, it says I move on even though I took third.  Curious... but I'll take it!

Group 4 is done, 1 game to go, from group 1.

Thanks for the tournament...!  I managed to lose both my remaining games and lose my way right out of it when I had a shot to move on!

Yeah, I don't want to complain too much, but---

A good tourney has close games that last longer. This tourney also has no vacation allowed and none have timed out, right? Pretty good is right. You're not going to run a 50 person tournament without wishing certain games would speed up - especially at 3 days per move.

I'm in the group with two... and I'm one of the two!

This tournament is pretty amazing though... (and part of the season that it's gone as "slow" as it has...)  There have been ZERO timeouts.

GHOST,

this is the response from chess.com

"I don't believe so, I believe that that check is done only at sign up."

---so we can hope the responder is correct.

Good luck.
