16 people are waiting because 2 people aren't capable of finding the resign-button....It isn't even making a difference in ranking at the end. Cannot understand such people...

Did you forget to withdraw? And resigned the last game instead? Because now you are advancing and there is no helping it anymore.

    timecheater here?

That makes sense. Thank you. I think I will leave my second game with fenway (which has not yet begun) to be the one during which I withdraw. However, I will most likely have to withdraw sooner so I will quite probably leave more than one game unfinished.

Normally yes. You need to finish your games and then withdraw. But in this case all remaining games in our group are yours. So you cannot finish your games and still other games are ongoing. Because once all games are played, the ones who advance are locked.

I would suggest to play all games except one and then withdraw. Well, you lose one game, but better than losing (5x3 = 15 players advance, so one group has 8 and one group has 7 players, so...) 12 or 14 games.

I have a question about this tournament's second round. There is a chance that I will place among the top three in my bracket, and will therefore advance. However, I cannot play in the second round if I do advance since I am otherwise occupied. Is there a way for me to finish my games, and then have the number four finisher advance in my stead, or should I resign my remaining games? If I do advance, and do have to play, each remaining player will simply win their games against me on time since I really cannot play.
