Ever been frustrated by the Benko Gambit (aka Volga Gambit or Volga-Benko Gambit) and wanted to learn more about how it works? That is the goal of this tournament. This opening was named after Pal Benko, who just recently celebrated his 80th birthday. Born in France, but raised in Hungary, Pal Benko emigrated to the United States in 1958, the same year he was granted the title of Grandmaster. I hope you all enjoy playing this wonderful opening.
