Queen's Gambit Accepted is the next in the series of thematic tourneys.  Had a bit of break since the last thematic tourney but we all know how life can shift priorities around.  Hope all have a fun time and learn more about this opening.  So come one, come all and don't forget to invite your friends...

I have had to knock one out of the tourney due to a rule I have for the tourneys I TD.  If you have a 90 day average that is above the rating limit for the tourney you will be put out of the tourney.  I understand sandbagging and I also understand having a bad run of it... trust me I understand that one.  But integrity should be part of play.  If you rating is low play some games and get you’re rating back up or play with those of a similar rating that you know you are in their league.  Take me for example; I have a 1200+ rating at the moment.  I would not enter a <1300 tourney because I am not a <1300 player.  I am a 1400+ player and would not enter any tourney that didn't cover that range... I would prefer a <1700 tourney to have a challenge but that is personal preference.

I haven't put on a tourney in a while and most of those who have joined in the other tourneys I have put on know about this policy.  It is inevitable that the aforementioned will happen so I wanted to state it for those who are new to the thematic series.  Cheers...
