Note:  I will be awarding a framable certificate to the winner of this tournament, as I do with all my 100-player events (see my group, ECHOOooo's Tournament Group for details).

The Sicilian Najdorf opening is perhaps the most popular single opening played in Master Chess today and is becoming even more popular as time goes on.  Here's the latest trend graph (from chessgames.com):

So, if you are an Under-1400 player, join this tournament to get some experience playing the Sicilian Najdorf!

Apology

ECHOOooo | Mar 17, 2012, 3:07 PM

I want to apologize for only having 4 players in this tournament.  It was supposed to be 100!  I recreated the correct tournament, which you can find here:

http://www.chess.com/tournament/sicilian-najdorf-2012-u14002

I hope you all re-register in the 100-player version to vie for the winner's certificate.  In the mean time, enjoy this short 4-player prelude!
