It wouldn't necessarily be shorter. The round will be as slow as the slowest player would take to make their moves on a single game. For instance if i picked any game and made a move on the last day and my opponent did the same, it take almost a month for a move - if that game took 60 moves - then theres another game to play.....well.....god help us all.....Maybe the youngest player will win, ha ha

    Less players so hopefully not

Potentially, any round could take at least 4 years!

    Round 1: 3.5 years

    Round 2: 1 year

    Round 3: 6 months

    Total: 5 years

Could well be the slowest ever

3 1/2 years later, and round 2 is underway! Could this actually be the slowest tourney EVER?!

Well said! From what i can see you're in for a good chance there - no losses yet!

In all of the other tournaments, people (even myself) get impatient if a game takes too long, especially if it's the first round and neither of the players are going through... it's nice to have the tables turned, as it were...

May the most patient person win :)

Well technically it could take up to 2 (or more) years to play a single game - so 4 years a round. I'm not sure if there's been a slower tourney?!
