Good day!

I would like to invite you to this new tournament for African players only. I will try to eliminate all people who don't have a flag that belongs to an African Country.

Thanks,

Uniteer - The Unit - http://www.chess.com/groups/home/the-unit

The idea behind The Unit is unity, as the name already implies. We want to form a group with all sorts of different levels, but with one common goal: To have members who put their best foot forward and who strive to treat every game as if it were the most important game and to make this group the most successful group in Chess.com, by not just thinking in the individual aspect of the game, but to experience to be part of a great group, and to be willing to fight until the king falls for the sake of the group. Playing chess in many expects is an individual activity. But the feeling to belong to a special group can create an extra dimension, like paying more attention and time to your games. A cohesive group is more than the sum of its parts, and synergy is the ability of a group to outperform even its best individual members, thus beating other group's higher ranked members. Let the games begin! Click here to join this group: http://www.chess.com/groups/home/the-unit

The Tournament component needs a new feature, namely group/regional tournaments, which would make it possible to allow only players from the group or region specified by the tournament director, to participate.

I am realy dissapointed with the high number of timeouts. This makes us Africans look bad. If you commit to playing in a tourney, stay or just withdraw. Do not keep people waiting when you know you cannot meet your commitments. Doing that just re-enforces the stereotype.

yes bro, when you paste d link in another homepage... each time they copy it and paste it, it is scattered, that is why d teams u ve invited too hasnt joined... it can only be copied correctly if they copy directly from their notes rather than hompage... but this is not usually the case

If you want to detect what i say, go to team nigeria homepage and copy the link now, you will understand what i say

And each player will play more opponents before being eliminated.

I suggest that you increse the group size to 10 with 2 proceeding; the effect will be that the tournament moves faster. Thank you for starting the tourney.
