Hi Balance,

The winners of each group in round 1 go through to round 2 with, obviously, the losers in each group being eliminated. The Chess.com computer then sorts the winning players into groups for round 2.

How is the winner determined?

In other words:

After the current games are completed will the players have new opponents or will these games currently being played be all the games of the tournmanet?

Please repond to my question in message if it is not too much trouble, since I do not check this page often.

Good idea for a series of tournaments, but it may be a number of years before you get down to "Z". And what about players whose user names begin with a numeral or a symbol?

Good luck to all the B's
