Looks like I was wrong about January 2011. There are still some playing as slow as possible. I'll go for March 2012.

This tournament should have been named "The Attrition Tournament".

They're dropping like flies, again.

Yup, and one in my group.  He warned me, though, that he would be disappearing back into the wilderness, so we hurried up and finished our games.  Maybe I should have waited to avoid that 1/2.Wink

Well it is a long time since round 1.

Now 2 players in group 5 seem about to time out after starting their games.

Wow, only two groups in the second round are without one player who is timing out in all their games.  Too bad those fellas weren't all in the same group.

I hope so. I hope he is really fed up.

Maybe he got fed up with people bitching at him over the speed of his play.

Having looked again, you're right. I wonder whether this was the moderators eventually getting fed up with all the complaints about the same guy. Or maybe his mum told him he wasn't allowed to play anymore?

Really? Where it says ays TD: acsmith  above. If I click on that it says account closed. You can still get to his list of games by other routes.

It says his account is active when I click on it. Either way, it doesn't matter, all his games are being lost on time now and I for one am glad.

If you click on acsmith above it says his account is closed.

Still 12 days for us to wait it seems.

I'll revise my July 2014 estimate now. I'll go for January 2011.

Ok folks, his vacation time has run out and his games are being lost one by one. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

He only has 10 days vacation left!!! Problem is he will probably just get his mum to pay for an upgrade to his account for more vacation time. We should probably just resign ourselves to the fact that we are going to be here all year. Ho hum.

I have done what I can. I am now blocked from communicating with him! Ha ha. Love it.

What is his obsession with setting up new tournaments when he doesn't play any of the ones he is already involved in? He is weird.

Yeah, and he's still setting up tournaments, what a sad deal, many poor souls will be sucked into his pathetic world.

Wow, yeah, if you can only enter 1 tourney, then withdraw. You'll complete another whole tourney waiting for this round to finish. Another 2 or 3 during the next round if acsmith makes it through. It's not worth waiting for.

Oh but if you are actually playing acsmith, then stay and beat him, pleeeeaassee.

I feel bad for you fellas who can only join one tourney at a time.  This was the first tourney that I joined, too.  I've completed several others in that time period...'course one player active in this one was noticeably absent in those others.

Smarty, you are wasting your time. He is a total asshole. You will see that he has just won 2 games against soldierj in our group. Basically soldierj stopped playing because he got fed up of waiting for acsmith. This is how he gets his rating up. He is the most ignorant little kid you will ever come across. I am considering buying a plane ticket to come to the US specifically to kick his ass. I bet his family are total retards.
