Won on time & withdraw

Hi, the 100th player will join soon and then this tournament start.

I like to share the below information with you, please ignore it if you know it before.

Won on time

this is the knock-out tournament, you will play two games with your opponent (one white & one black), the winner will go to next round, or two of you go to next round if tie.

Sometimes your opponent do not show up and you win on time, it is quite normal at tournament, you will go to next round.

But if both players in the same group do not show up and tie, then they go to next round, it is not fair for other winner go to next round after playing tough games, so I will remove these 2 players, for this case.

Withdraw

If you complete your two games and could not win and go to next round, and you wish to attend other tournament, suggest to click "withdraw" on this tournament to quit, your rating will keep the same.

munchkinz, you could join one tournament only, if the tournament is created by chess.com members, and you could join unlimited tournament created by chess.com (official tournament), so I guess one of tournament you joined is the official tournament.

for this tournament, I estimate it could be 100% completed in 2~3 months, the players fail at round 1 / round 2... could be free to join other tournament, no need to wait to the end of this tournament.

munchkinz is correct, but it is unavoidable at knockout tournament.

sometime. maybe is 26, or 27, or even 30,for two players in the same group go to next round if tie.

Hi, after I keep working as a crazy bee, 3 of 13 tournaments I created for different rating players have started, after 100 players joined, much earlier than my expect - no need to wait 7 days.

there are 79 players at this tournament now, if you do not mind, let's start it after the 100 player join, but not wait for another 6 days.

generally, there are 50 winners after round 1, they will be grouped again - 2 players each group and repeat the same as round 1.

so the 25 winners will go next round, and 12 ones, then 6 ones ...,

the players fail to go to next round could stay here until the end of tournament, or withdraw.

it is knock out, I do not like robin, it need to play too many games and hold lots of players for long time.

Each round, you just need to play two games at knockout tournament, you could quit the tournament if you fail to go to next round.
